What these terms cover
These terms apply to hsa.care, the website of Health Service Alliance, a nonprofit community health center network in Southern California. By using the site you agree to them. They cover the website only. Your care as a patient, your rights, and your billing are governed by the documents you receive at our health centers, including our Notice of Privacy Practices.
This website is not medical advice
The information on this site is general and is provided to help you understand our services and find care. It is not medical advice, it does not create a patient relationship, and it is not a substitute for a visit with a clinician. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911. If you are in crisis, call or text 988.
Requests you send through the site
When you check your coverage, answer the questionnaire, or ask us to call you, you are asking us to contact you. Sending a request does not book an appointment and does not confirm coverage. A member of our team follows up during business hours to do both. Please give accurate information so we can reach you, and do not use the site to send urgent clinical questions.
How we handle what you send is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
Calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number and consent, we may call or text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is never a condition of receiving care, and you can withdraw it at any time by telling us or by replying STOP to a text.
The patient portal
The patient portal is a separate, secure system with its own sign-in and its own terms. Links from this site to the portal are provided for convenience. Keep your portal sign-in private and contact your health center if you think it has been used without your permission.
Using the site responsibly
Please do not attempt to access parts of the site that are not public, interfere with how it works, submit information about another person without their permission, or use the site for anything unlawful. We may limit or block access to protect the site and the people who use it.
Our content and third-party links
The text, images, logo, and design of this site belong to Health Service Alliance or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for personal, noncommercial use. The site links to outside resources, such as Medi-Cal and Medicare, that we do not control and are not responsible for.
Accuracy, availability, and limits
We work to keep hours, locations, accepted plans, and services accurate, and we confirm them when you book. The site is provided as is, may be unavailable at times, and, to the extent the law allows, Health Service Alliance is not liable for losses that result from relying on the website itself. Nothing here limits your rights as a patient.
Changes, governing law, and how to reach us
If we update these terms, the new version will be posted here with its effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Questions about the website can be sent to info@hsa.care or 877-335-2559, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
